A Season of Unity
Honoring Namibia’s Strength and Resilience
Dear Reader
The beautiful season of the month of November is upon us.
On the surface, life in our country appears as vibrant and dynamic as ever. Namibia’s
charm is undeniable. Yet, we are acutely aware of the significant moment at hand:
the upcoming elections. This is a time when our political landscape reminds us of the
responsibility we hold as citizens to vote and thereby consolidate our democracy.
Namibia with her resilient people, continues to inspire me. Every day, I am
moved by everyone working under the blazing heat of our Namibian sun. I have
tremendous respect for each one who contributes positively to our economy and
the welfare of Namibians.
The unseen efforts and sacrifices made individually and collectively by Namibians, are
remarkable. Our progress, our achievements, and our peace and stability are not mere
coincidences; they are the results of tireless dedication and hard work of Namibian
citizens, investors, tourists and those who believe in our dream of shared prosperity.
We may have a population of just 3.3 million people, but I can assure you that every
single Namibian is unique, loving and caring. In this context, the African proverb
stating, “The sun does not forget a village just because it is small,” has deep resonance
and relevance.
Our nation is a wonder of diverse cultures and backgrounds, each contributing to the
richness that is Namibia. Let the sun shine brightly on every corner of our country,
and let the rains be plentiful, making the month of November beautiful for us all.
Thank you to everyone, for leaving a positive footprint in the gem we call Namibia.
With heartfelt regards
